This oceanfront apartment is 3 miles from Jockey's Ridge State Park and features 2 outdoor pools with hot tubs, an indoor pool with a hot tub, and private access to Outer Banks beaches. Guests are just 2 miles from the Wright Brothers National Memorial. Unfortunately, we are unable to use it this year. We have always loved coming to this family friendly beach. There are lifeguards along the beach for safety and plenty of places to rent beach equipment, bikes, kayaks and just about anything you could need. The OBX has something for everyone!!
The unit features a full kitchen and living area with a sofa bed. It also includes a deck with chairs and a table. This unit is just a short walk to the beach; you are on the access walkway. There are umbrella and chair rentals if you would like to have a spot all ready for you when you get there!
After a day at the beach, Outer Banks Beach Club guests can go fishing (there is a cleaning station on one of the walkways). Children can take advantage of a newly updated onsite playground. 3 pools! There are activities for the whole family in the activity's clubhouse. See the activities director for sign-up and schedules. We have participated in many of their activities in the past: Bingo, making tie-dye shirts, crafts, movies, water aerobics, and many others!
There are several restaurants and shops within walking distance. A laundry room is available on the ground level. There is also a ground level locker to store your bikes or beach equipment. Please bring your own padlock.
Upscale shopping options are 7 miles away at Tanger Outlet Mall. Guests are 16 miles from Fort Raleigh National Historical Site. It is also a short drive to Manteo, the North Carolina Aquarium, the Lost Colony, hang gliding at Jockey's Ridge and lots of kayak tours. Just south of the unit is one of the top wind surfing beaches in the country! A few miles north is the new water park - H2OBX!!
This property also has one of the top-rated locations in Kill Devil Hills! Guests are happier with it compared to other properties in the area
