Responsibilities
• Pick up and deliver medical specimens, lab samples, and equipment
• Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules
• Maintain proper handling and storage of medical items (including temperature-sensitive materials)
• Ensure all deliveries comply with safety and HIPAA regulations
• Communicate with dispatch regarding pickups, delays, and completed deliveries
• Keep accurate delivery logs and obtain signatures when required
• Maintain a clean, organized, and reliable vehicle
Requirements
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Reliable vehicle (car, SUV, or cargo van preferred)
• Smartphone with GPS capability
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs (as needed)
• Knowledge of local routes is a plus
