We are an established underground utilities company performing contract work for Virginia Natural Gas, Columbia Gas, and others. Our work environment is professional, collaborative, and hard-working. Our goal is to hire an experienced, well-rounded mechanic.
Do NOT apply if your experience does not meet these criteria:
The ideal candidate will have experience as a mechanic working on gas engines, diesel engines, and construction equipment. The majority of the work will be on our company's fleet of work trucks, consisting of gas and diesel Ford, Dodge, and Chevrolet models. You must have a driver's license and your own tools. A CDL would be helpful.

Compensation will be based on experience.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Proficient in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic systems, electrical systems, transmissions, and engines. Strong understanding of heavy equipment systems, diagnostic tools, and industry safety standards. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), work in outdoor environments, and perform tasks requiring physical stamina.
Ability to effectively communicate issues, repairs, and maintenance schedules with team members and supervisors. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues under tight deadlines. Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and emergency call-outs, as required.
