Commercial Construction Estimator
Job Title: Construction Estimator | Commercial Restaurants & Hospitality
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator with a strong background in commercial restaurant and hospitality projects. This role is responsible for developing accurate cost estimates, analyzing market trends, and supporting financial performance tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for ground-up and renovation projects
• Analyze material pricing trends and anticipate market fluctuations to help prepare accurate cost estimates/bids, and to inform project budgeting team.
• Review drawings, specifications, and proposals to develop comprehensive bids
• Collaborate with project managers and procurement teams to align scope and costs
• Utilize financial reports and expense data to track actual project costs prior to operating expenses
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and project standards
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of construction estimating experience, preferably in restaurant or hospitality projects
• Strong knowledge of material pricing, supply chain dynamics, and market conditions
• Experience using financial reports to evaluate cost performance and forecasting
• Proficiency in estimating software and Excel
• Proficiency with bid submission processes (we also bid state work as well, which have extensive bid submission guidelines)
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills
Preferred:
• Experience with high-volume or multi-site builds
• Familiarity with value engineering and cost optimization strategies
