We're growing steadily and looking for skilled, reliable carpenters who take pride in craftsmanship and want to be part of a close-knit team. This is a hands-on career opportunity for experienced carpenters who enjoy building high-quality structures and contributing to every stage of the project.

We highly value solid carpentry skills and experience—if you have strong fundamentals in framing, siding, roofing, and outbuilding construction, we'll provide full training on our specific building systems, precut packages, and standards. We're building a dedicated team and want professionals who deliver consistent, excellent work.

What You'll Do

• Meet daily at our shop in Chesapeake, VA.
• Ride along or drive a company truck to job sites (helping load and organize materials, tools, and inventory as needed).
• Work hands-on as part of a small crew (typically 4–5 people, including carpenters and a helper) to complete builds from start to finish.
• Assist with and perform complete outbuilding projects, including foundation prep/framing, wall and roof assembly, siding, roofing, trim, and finish details.
• Handle a variety of projects: from quick-assembly precut 8x8 shed packages to larger garages on slabs with trusses.
• Follow Virginia and North Carolina building codes under guidance from the crew lead.
• Use pneumatic tools, generators, compressors, and other equipment (all provided by us).
• Contribute to problem-solving on site, maintain high-quality standards, and help keep projects on schedule.
• Interact professionally and respectfully with customers and team members.

Who We're Looking For

You’re the right fit if you:

• Have solid, proven experience in framing, siding, roofing, and assembling outbuildings, garages, sheds, or similar wooden structures.
• Are skilled and confident with carpentry tools and techniques, with strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
• Are dependable, hardworking, and committed to finishing jobs efficiently while maintaining high standards.
• Work well in a team environment, support your crew, and help foster a positive, productive dynamic.
• Can adapt to challenges on the job, think on your feet, and pay close attention to measurements and alignment.
• Treat customers with respect and professionalism.
• Have experience operating lifting equipment (or are willing to learn).
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and can pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Bring your own basic tool bag (hammer, square, chalk line, tape measure, etc.—we supply all power tools, pneumatics, generators, compressors, and heavy equipment).

Technical drawings/blueprints are used occasionally; ability to read them is a plus but not required—we'll guide you as needed.
