This is a vintage machine in excellent condition. I've been using it strictly as a planer, but it's real strength is the ability to shape standard and custom moldings.
This is the model with power infeed. If you really want power outfeed as well, the company is still supporting their older machines:
From the W&H website:
"Like a Timex watch, vintage W&H Molder/Planers W7, W7PF & W7S are still in the field and keep on ticking! Our retro fit upgrades, in-stock replacement parts, and technical support team is essential to keeping our woodworking customers coming back for decades."
The knives are still reasonably sharp, but there are small nicks toward the left and right edges. It will not be difficult for you or your favorite sharpening servive to take these out. Or, a pass or two with a scraper will take the ridges right out.
Base not included.
The dual-voltage motor is currently wired for 240V, but is easily changed for 120V.
