Hello, single gentlemen here, I'm 65 still active , currently living in Sandbridge the last 3 years. I'm looking for a place before end of September , my landlord is having his girlfriend move in, so I need to find a new place. I would like to stay in the VB area, if there's anyone that would like to share their house, chores, responsibility, and cooking. I have my own things or I can put them in mini storage if needed. I am retired and I do volunteer work, I do companion work and help a few individuals with diabetes and getting to their dialysis. . I do not smoke , I do not drink. It's okay if you do. I enjoy kayaking, paddleboarding ,electric bike, and fishing with a few other hobbies. I'm fairly healthy little overweight but I guess that comes with age. I'd like to keep my bills down, but I can afford a place, just looking for the right place. I am an excellent cook. I have my own cookware and I cook very good meals and bake, I am a clean individual and try to be orderly. I am retired from the security field . I was lead tech at the Library of Congress and on Capitol Hill for their new entrances I was there for 13 years and I had moved on to work at Andrews Air Force Base auditing their telecommunication networks. I had a top secret clearance GENSER level. I can supply you with references and may speak to my existing landlord. In addition to that I took care of my best friend's mom for 11 years as her companion and I cooked for her and helped maintain the house. I have lots of experience with repairs of house appliances as well as landscaping. I'm not looking for a job, lol I am just trying to give you an idea of the benefits of having me as roommate.
I am retired and on social security. I don't know anyone here, so I will not be be bringing visitors or overnight guests I'm single and I want to stay that way LOL. I am open to any area in Virginia Beach possibly Northern Norfolk or lower Chesapeake area. I'm not interested in oceanfront tourist area in VB , but North of the oceanfront or south of Rudee's inlet would be great, I look forward to hearing from anyone that might want to have a friend, roommate, or anyone that might need some help that could use a companion for doctor visits and shopping stuff like that.
