Fully tested to record and play tapes with no issues. If you plan to use this to transfer tapes, you get everything you need. Simply plug the power cable from the battery charger to the Camcorder and run an RCA cable from camera to TV, computer or whatever. I dont have an RCA cable included but will throw one in if you need it. Just let me know when purchasing.
Battery does not hold a charge. Its included in case you want to buy a new one to record video. Most people use 2-3 batteries when creating video. They are cheap and available lots of places. I can send you a link if you need it.
