NEW - Lowered Price, rock bottom. Unmodified all-original 1985 Gibson Explorer 425 electric guitar. No repairs, no finish checking, pretty rare for a 41yr old guitar. Color was originally a pewter, but the aged nitro finish gives it a green metallic color. Stock Gibson Dirty Fingers Humbucker and 2 single coil pickups. Kahler bridge and locking nut work flawlessly and are not corroded out. One coil-tap (bridge) volume, one tone. Three on-off switches, one for each pickup. This is a shredder’s paradise guitar, plays super fast and has low action. Original Nickel frets had a setup/crown a bit over a year ago. Comes with 80’s hard shell case that’s built like a tank along with the original trem arm, some gold Gibson Speed knobs and 3 allen wrenches for the Kahler Trem. NOTE: the G string tuner has a broken nut from someone over the 41 years over-tightening. It still works, but could use a replacement. Listing locally so I don’t heve to ship. Price reflects discount since I won’t have to pay reverb fees.
