condition: good
Beautiful late-1800s/early-1900s Romantic style parlor guitar. Unsure of maker or provenance. As per my inquiry with George Gruhn of Gruhn Guitars, he believes it's *possibly* German/Markneukirchen.

The top is solid Spruce, I'm not sure what species the sides & back are. Beautiful purfling / inlay work. Action is a little high, but the sound is beautiful, bold & resonant.

Overall this guitar has obvious "soul", lots of character from play wear and original patina. The spruce top has a crack, which appears to have been filled at some point in its life, same with the two splits on the back. Open slotted headstock, with one of the tuning keys/buttons being replaced at some point.

I haven't done anything to alter this condition. I'm leaving it up to the new owner to decide to clean, repair or keep in its original condition.

Please don't hesitate to ask any further questions or request more photos. I'll be happy to provide.

Comes with a generic, non-period acoustic case.

*Open to trades*
