Complete flattop late-1979 to 1984 rebuilt Harley-Davidson 4-speed transmission with about 1500 miles on it. Case in excellent shape with no repairs, cracks, or stripped out threads. Came out of a 1980 FXEF I bought new from H-D dealership back in 1981. Rebuilt it with new Andrews components: mainshaft, countershaft, countershaft third/fourth gear cluster, countershaft second, countershaft first (low), mainshaft third gear, mainshaft fourth/main drive gear, both shifter clutches (dogs), and shifter forks, many years ago but ended up not using it. Just went through it again replacing the main drive gear bearing and all new gaskets and seals with a JIMS kit. Only original H-D component is the mainshaft low/second gear cluster (17/20), which is in excellent shape so it was reused. Comes with new sprocket nut, lockwasher, and oil seal. Does not have main drive gear spacer, which goes behind oil seal, since there are different ones for different models. Has Andrews close ratio third gear setup (#203375) to tighten the engine rpm gap between second and third gear when a 24-tooth transmission sprocket is used instead of the stock 23-tooth for lower engine rpm on the highway. Comes with clutch release arm, complete shifter arm assembly on shifter top, and clutch rod with new clutch rod throwout bearing. Setup for electric start only but you can install a kicker setup if you want. Kicker cover is chromed, kicker cover hardware is stainless steel, shifter top is stock aluminum. Just add your model's main drive gear spacer and oil.
