Harley OEM 1962-64 Panhead dual points distributor/circuit breaker/timer, manual advance and retard, Big Twin distributor in excellent condition. Like many of the parts I'm finding in my storage unit, this part hasn't been on a bike in around 50 years. My guess is that the part has less than 5,000 miles on it. I took it off a 1962 Panhead I bought in the mid-1970's to install a single-points distributor with an automatic advance/retard ignition timing setup. There's no play in the drive gear and shaft connection (pin). The shaft housing also has no side play between the bushings and shaft. The mounting plate on the housing has some marring, as the photos show. The chrome is in nice shape. In fact, the accompanying photos show, in detail, all this distributor's imperfections. No repairs have been done to this part and none are needed. Just add the missing components (only the ones shown are included in this sale), new points and condenser, and install it onto your vintage/restored Panhead. Basically, it's a like-new part with some cosmetic defects. Check out the photos for more information. Ask questions before you buy, no returns. Additional photos available on request.
