Construction Helper Wanted – Building Rehab Project
South River Construction is looking for a dependable construction helper for the rehabilitation of an older commercial building.
This is hands-on work that may include:
- Insulation
- Subfloor repair and installation
- Light framing
- Hanging drywall
- Demolition and cleanup
- General construction tasks
We're not looking for a master carpenter. We're looking for someone who can show up on time, work hard, follow directions, and complete basic construction tasks without constant supervision.
The ideal candidate:
- Has basic construction experience
- Knows how to safely use common hand and power tools
- Has reliable transportation
- Takes pride in their work
- Stays off their phone and stays productive
- Can work independently when needed
Pay is hourly, based on experience, and paid weekly.
This is a straightforward arrangement. If you do good work, there will be steady work available. If it's not a fit, we'll pay you for your time and part ways professionally.
