From the manufacture: Made by hand in Richmond, Virginia, this classic cast iron style Palatial Bed sports an old style look with straight, simple lines and a slightly arched footboard. This bed is perfect in either a traditional or contemporary setting. This vintage style beds is manufactured new using modern materials, but in traditional hand-made fashion. In this example, instead of iron and lead, we manually cut tubular steel and hand-cast it in place with molten zinc-aluminum alloy. Our more advanced materials make the frame lighter, stronger, longer-lived, and safer. We offer a double-lifetime guarantee on our beds, for the original owner and their heir.
