Norfolk based software company is looking for an Implementation Guide to join our team and help us install and configure our proprietary software solution.

We provide an inventory software system to hospitality properties (business to business). Our clients include a variety of properties which include resorts, hotels, casinos, sports arenas, restaurants, retailers, airports, and hospitals. Most of our clients are in the United States, but we do have some international customers. We range from Fortune 100 Companies to mom and pop locations.

Ideal candidate must enjoy working in a smaller company environment (27 employees currently) where they will have a direct impact on the end-product and experience provided to our clients and have ready access to management and escalation resources.

Job Description:

The primary duties of this position include the support and installation of our products and services.

Implementation Guides will be expected to work with new clients in coordinating the installation of the Yellow Dog Inventory system. You will be working directly with our valued clients to gather information prior to the installation of the software, as well as training the client to optimize their use of Yellow Dog Inventory.

In addition to managing the entire project, specific duties would include coordination of schedules and task, end user training, data conversion, and consultative configuration of our software. The installation is typically done remotely, but larger sites will require on-site visits.

Travel for this position varies but should be expected.

Other duties of this position would include some support and software testing.

Ideal Candidates Would Also Have One of More of the Following:

-- Hospitality work experience (Server, Bartender, or F&B Management Experience)
-- Experience with Point of Sale, Inventory, or Accounting systems
-- A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS)

Mid to High D, High I, Mid S, Mid to High C

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary with a potential year-end bonus based on individual contribution. The starting compensation range for this position is 30-40K. Total compensation range is higher and will be determined upon the success of the individual.
