1963 Navy Academy sailboat. Ive made a dent in restoring her but do not have the time to continue.
This boat is bomb proof design, wood cored fiberglass and was built to race and train midshipman at the navy academy.
The boat is currently out of the water on the hard and had the bottom paint re done. It is $400 a month to keep it there on the hard.
I've done a lot of work to it but it is a project. I have sailed it a few times over the last few years but would love it to go to someone with time and more people. it is not an easy boat to sail alone. It could be made water ready pretty quickly but I figure if you're buying this boat you would want it on the hard to do your own work/inspection.
It comes with several sails, extra parts, upgrades and information.
It was retired and given to the navy sailing club in Pax river. It was sold at Auction, then I bought it a few years ago.
