I hate to do this, but I'm selling my 1987 Tayana 37' cutter. She has factory fiberglass decks, all solid as a rock. Upgraded 40hp Yanmar diesel that runs great. Just hauled and bottom paint .....late last year (2019). Hull was buffed, looks great. She's beautiful down below, I don't have really good pictures, but I'll try to get some soon. Traditional layout, quarter berth aft to starboard, good size galley to port, propane stove/oven, large cold plate refrigeration, double sink, saltwater and freshwater foot pumps ( in addition to pressure water system of course). Large nav station/chart table to starboard. Folding dinette table with settee on both sides, both double as sea berths (with lee cloths). Moving further forward to port is the head with separate shower (not common in a boat this size, and much more usable than a wet head). To starboard is a large hanging locker and then the huge V berth. She has tons of storage space. Monitor windvave self steering system. Recent new canvas on dodger, main sailcover, staysail cover, butterfly hatch etc. These boats are known for their blue water capabilities, many have circumnavigated (I haven't, but she is a great sailing boat, really comfortable motion, very forgiving. So, she's 30 some years old and does have some issues. Sails are tired, she's been neglected on deck for a couple years. Teak cockpit locker tops need attention, and the rest of the teak on deck needs sanding/varnish. This explains the price. Take a look, I don't think you'll be disappointed. Possible delivery.
