We have created a wonderful, inviting, and fun beachfront community. Our bayfront features a 2,000 square foot grilling area on a naturally vegetated beach. This grilling area comes with a propane gas grill, 2 gazebos and a swing. Smoking outside is permitted. The owner is hands-on and is service-oriented. Ownership is on the property daily and enjoys dealing with residents. Our residents are able to reach the owner any time they want
The bay-front is for year round living. Whether it is summer or winter, the bay is great for year-round fishing and activities. Oysters, Clams, Chesapeake Bay Blue Crabs, Rockfish, Red Drum, Puppy Drum, Flounder, Tautog, Cobia, and Trout are just some of the many species right off of our breakwater. Birdwatching is also excellent year-round. Besides Blue Jays, Cardinals, Orioles, Finches and Humming Birds we also have eagles and hawks on our sand dunes. If you like to paddleboard, kite-surf, kayak, and even sail on smaller boats our property is the perfect spot for you to launch from.

Located on the beach, The Surfrider features 1 and 2 bedroom apartments. Unit amenities include semi-private decks, wood floors, modern interiors with wood floors, built-in microwave ovens, dishwashers, ceramic tile wainscoting, built-in microwave ovens, ceiling fans, and eat-in kitchen. Studios ($1,200 to $1,300), 1 bedroom ($1,399 to $1,499), 2-bedroom ($1,600) and 2 bedroom with washer dryer ($1,799 to $1,899)For some folks laundry time is social time. For those residents we also have a modern, well equipped and clean laundry room too.
We also have large, high end, bay front, 1 and 2 bedroom apartment homes. These rentals feature window walls along the bay that feature panoramic views of the Chesapeake Bay, private beach front verandas, wood floors, stainless steel appliances, washer/dryer, ceiling fans, large walk-in closets, extra capacity water heaters, and extensive custom tile work. One cat permitted with a $300 non-refundable pet fee and $30 per month pet rent or 1 dog up to 20 pounds when fully grown with a $500 nonrefundable pet fee and pet rent of $50 per month

We are 9 minutes to ODU and less than 20-minutes from Downtown Norfolk, Downtown Hampton, EVMS, Norfolk State University and Hampton University. Office hours are 11 to 6, Monday through Friday.
