I know this is a long shot but what can it hurt?!?!

I have a very good friend that is going to find herself literally homeless in June. She is the mother of 3 small children and is scared to death. Her selfish family is offering no help at all.

She lives paycheck to paycheck and will not be able to come up with a full months rent plus deposit while she is still paying the bills she has now. She also works under the table which makes it hard to fill out apartment applications.

She is very clean, dependable, well-mannered, and friendly and just needs a break.

I am hoping there is somebody out there that has a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment or house for rent in the southside area that would be willing to work with weekly payments until she can get settled. She can afford up to 250 a week but would clearly do better with something cheaper. If need be, I would be willing to co-sign with her and take some responsibility for payments. I would bring her into my own home but only have 1 bedroom.

Please contact me if you have something available on a short or long term basis. I am not telling her that I am reaching out to the community for help because I do not want her to get her hopes up. She is stressed enough right now. I truly hope there is somebody out there that has the heart to help somebody in desperate need.

I am looking for a roommate, preferrably a male within 10 years of my age.
I'd love a temporary arrangement, maybe 3 months or so. But if you're more interested in something more long term and the arrangement seems comfortable for all parties involved I'd definitely consider it.

If you're active in the military and you'd like someone to stay at your home as a roommate while you're on duty to maintain everything, I'd be the ideal candidate. As far as any other situation goes; I love to have cool relaxed fun and I love to entertain: cooking out or frying fish, listening to music, playing cards...etc. But I don't do "hot houses" (places with alot of random in and out traffic) or "party-all-the-time animals" well at all. I also don't do drama or alot of issues. Home is supposed to exude peace and serenity, and that's how I like to live.

I would definitely consider any area in Central Hampton Roads, but I prefer to stay in Norfolk, the Beach west of Town Center, or the Northern side of Chesapeake.
